They keep coming back in a bloodthirsty lust for HUMAN FLESH!…
I realise anyone who calls himself somewhat of a horror fan must’ve seen this movie already, but I couldn’t very well leave it out of our collection of public domain cult movies could I?
The story’s about seven strangers who lock themselves up in a farmhouse to protect themselves against the zombie horde who try to eat their delicious flesh. Tension rises high, chaos trickles into the story and the rest you’ll see for yourself (if you are one of the few who didn’t see it yet). Being a low-budget movie it’s amazing how much atmosphere, tension and shock-value it has even today, some 40 years later.
Being one of the greatest zombie movies and certainly the most influential, George Romero must’ve kicked himself over not renewing the copyright.
