Arguably ahead of its time, CARNIVAL OF SOULS is said to have been of major influence on the works of directors like David Lynch and George A. Romero. In 1998, Wes Craven was the executive producer of a remake with the same CARNIVAL OF SOULS title. Contrary to popular criticism, you won’t find us jumping on the bandwagon out to bash this remake as we believe it to be a shamefully underrated horror movie on its own.
