The people at Bloody Disgusting got their hands on some interesting pictures of the movie Splice, which are really worth checking out.
The movie is about two scientists who get famous for their species made by mixing animal DNA, and take it a step further when they try to mix human and animal DNA.
Which doesn’t turn out all that well, judging by the pictures.

Again, not in the same flick. Just announcing that indie-director Richard Griffin, has released a trailer of their upcoming movie Nun of That and is about to premiere April 10th. Horror star Robert Quarry has died in the night of the 20th. Apparantly, he had health problems for a while now.
Quarry had roles in such movies as Count Yorga, Dr. Phibes Rises Again, Deathmaster, Sugar Hill, etc. He was retired, but planned to appear in The Tell-Tale Heart movie that is coming out this year.

The story of a nymphomaniac’s search for sexual fulfillment. A nymphomaniac with 7 clits, that is. Lots of gore and nudity to be expected, and coming to DVD in the UK on March 2nd. From director Frank Henenlotter, who directed such movies as Basket Case, Brain Damage and Frankenhooker.
While deformed genital horror was already done in the movie Teeth(reviewed here), this one seems more focused on actual horror (and not to forget, more nudity).
Plot goes like this: “Driven by biological excess, a young man and woman search for sexual fulfillment, unaware of each other’s existence. Unfortunately, they eventually meet, and the bonding of these two very unusual human beings ends in an explosive and ultimately over-the-top sexual experience, resulting in a truly godawful love story…. With bizarre special effects by Gabe Bartalos, a hip-hop soundtrack from Prince Paul, and shot in glorious 35mm, BAD BIOLOGY is guaranteed to shock even the most desensitized of audiences, and sure to become a modern cult classic.”
